When my wife Tallie and I opened Bin 110, we set out to build a place that takes its bourbon, wine, and music seriously — without taking itself too seriously. That's the energy we bring to every private event we host. You'll get the attention to detail of a fine-dining experience with the warmth of a neighborhood spot where everyone knows your name by the second pour.

Whether you're driving up from Charlotte or you live right here on Lake Norman, Bin 110 gives your group a setting that's distinctly different from anywhere else in the area — 500+ whiskeys on the wall, a curated wine list, exclusive barrel picks you can't find anywhere else, and live music nights that turn a dinner into a destination.

A guided flight of three to six pours, hand-selected from our collection. Pick a theme — Kentucky classics, single-barrel picks, high-rye vs. wheated, Japanese rarities — and we'll build the experience around it. Perfect for clients you want to impress or a team you want to bring closer together.

Quarterly team dinners, executive entertaining, client thank-yous, holiday parties. We'll work with your group size and budget to design a small-plates menu, a wine pairing, or a full open bar — whatever fits.

Common Questions

How big can a private event be?

We host groups from 6 up to a full buyout. Most of our private events fall in the 10–35 range, but we'll make 40+ work with enough notice. For full buyouts, reach out as far ahead as you can.

Do you have a dedicated private room?

We have a beautiful main floor with sections we can reserve for your group, and we can configure the space to fit your guest count and energy level. Larger events can take over a substantial portion of the bar. We'll talk through layout when we connect.

Can you do a custom whiskey or bourbon tasting?

Absolutely — this is one of the things we do best. Tastings can be themed (Kentucky bourbons, single-barrel picks, high-rye vs. wheated, scotch regions, Japanese whisky) and led by someone on our team who knows the bottles inside and out. Price varies by the pours selected.

What's the food situation?

We offer flatbreads, Wagyu sliders, charcuterie boards, and other small plates designed to share. For private events, we can build a custom menu or set up family-style service.

Do you take events on Mondays?

We're closed to the public on Mondays, which makes Monday a great option for larger private events and full buyouts. Ask about it on the form.

Is there a minimum spend or a deposit?

For most private events, yes — both vary based on the date, group size, and whether you're reserving a section or the whole space. We'll walk through the specifics when we talk.

How far in advance should I book?

For weekends and holiday season, 3–6 weeks out is ideal. For tastings or smaller weeknight groups, we can sometimes turn things around in under a week. The sooner the better — we want to do this right.
